Unlocking the Future: Join the Material Digital Passport webinar
In a bid to revolutionize the energy industry’s supply chain and combat material fraud, IOGP is undertaking a Joint Industry Sprint for the definition of a Material Digital Passport (MDP) specification (Download the MDP JIS flyer). As we embark on this transformative journey, we invite representatives from the entire supply chain to join us in shaping the future of material traceability.
What is the Material Digital Passport (MDP)?
The Material Digital Passport (MDP) is a novel system aiming at reducing material fraud by enhancing material traceability and proof of origin of commodities relevant for the energy industry’s supply chain, leveraging component tagging, unique universal identifiers (UUID) and digital technologies.
Your Role in Ensuring Success
For the Material Digital Passport to achieve its full potential, we need the active cooperation of representatives from every corner of the supply chair. These insights and expertise are essential in shaping a system that meets the unique challenges of the energy industry.
Join the Webinar: Be a Catalyst for Change
In two open webinars, IOGP will present the content and structure of the MDP system. This is not just a presentation; it’s an opportunity for attendees to actively engage in the development process. Attendee feedback will be collected, and attendees will receive information on how to further contribute to the specification’s development.
Discussion Points:
- What is the MDP and why it is important now
- Which are the key elements of the MDP
- What information are recorded in the MDP
- How the MDP process will work
